Who are M.O.D.E.L. -P.C. Mentees?

Mentees are residents of Gloucester, Salem, Camden, or Burlington County, ages 4 thru 18

How do we match mentees with a mentor, and why?

One to One, is our plan to make strong and lasting "Matches" a reality for young people in our community.

Groups and teams are often necessary for the building of our villages.
However,  the  effects  of  personalindividualized  interaction  of a caring mentor with a young person has a far greater impact on their lives .
Mentors caring and volunteering of their time with a child who needs to fill the voids and gaps in their life can help him or her to:
  • develop higher levels of self-esteem
  • achieve greater academic ability
  • improve  behavioral  and  social  relations and
  • grow into strong, confident adults
Who are the mentees that we match with mentors?
  • Children between four (4) and fourteen (14) years of age, who have either  one  or  both  of their parents separated from them due to incarceration.
M.O.D.E.L. - P.C. connects mentees with mentors who chose to make special time to share with a young person.
  • Arranging schedules to fit into the plans of the youth and his or her family
  • Planning outings geared toward the youth’s interest and goals
  • Sharing quality time together
Mentees spend at least one hour a week with a mentor who has time to share.

A Match can be made just for YOU!
