Welcome to M. O. D. E. L. - P. C.
We are a non-profit organization located in Paulsboro NJ,
Gloucester County that is committed to providing services to and
for our youth and community.
Our small town (approximately 2 miles) has an abundance of
needs and concerns that our youth are facing daily.
It is because of this great need that the
Paulsboro
Community Development Center was formed some seven years ago
under the direction of Rev. Dr. A. B. Frazier, Pastor of the Second
Baptist Church of Paulsboro.
We are committed to following a model
of mentoring children of prisoners which has
been developed by Dr. W. Wilson Goode, former Mayor of
Philadelphia, Amachi. The
Amachi
Program, has been proven to be successful and beneficial to
the youth involved as well as to the community at large.
Many children and mentors of the city of Philadelphia
and around the nation are
receiving many rewarding successes as a result of this mentoring
program. So shall our youth right here in Southern New
Jersey with your assistance by becoming
volunteer
mentors and by
referring
your youth to us to be matched with a mentor.
We are proud to be of service to
over five hundred seventy
youth during the past three years, and we continue to anticipate that
great and lasting relationships shall be fostered as a result of
this program we invite you to be a part of it all.
